Packaging Design
Working on Packaging Designs has been one of the most fun and simultaneously complicated things I've done. In almost every other area of graphic design, I'm designing on a flat surface. However, when it comes to packaging, suddenly I'm working on a flat screen, but preparing this design to be on a three dimensional object. While it can be involved work, it's taught me a lot about how to be meticulous and pay attention to the details.
SIMUL Packaging Design
For this project, I created the branding and packaging for a skin care brand called Simul. The packaging was created with recycled paper, and the brand encourages consumers to recycle the packaging after opening the product. The packaging is simple and clean, and is meant to feel as relaxing as the products themselves. I designed three packages: A lotion box, soap bar packaging, and a bag for the bath salts. Pictured to the left is the lotion box, and below are the bath salts and soap bar.
Glace Packaging Design
For this project, I created a mailable suite of items promoting the launch of a new subscription-based service called Glace. Glace is a cocktail box subscription that is marketed towards women who want to make fun drinks but may or may not have previous experience making cocktails at home. The branding is feminine and approachable, with colors resembling a sunset.
