Phantom Salsa Branding
For this project, I was tasked with creating the branding, packaging, and social media campaign for a made-up company of my choice. I created "Phantom Salsa," an untraditional approach to salsa that aims to be bright and fun. The logo plays on the word "Phantom Salsa" as it's both a little ghost and a pepper combined. I practiced a little bit of illustration to create the icon, and used bright colors throughout the branding.
The Brand Guide
I created the Brand Guidelines print booklet for Phantom Salsa, which is a set of standards for the brand, including how to use the logo, colors, type, and photography. This was a fun piece to make, and gave me good practice in Indesign creating a formal guide.
Jar Labels
The jar labels for Phantom Salsa have several variations including one for each flavor. The packaging combines the primary and secondary brand colors, giving the labels a bright, fun feeling.
Social Media Campaign
The social media campaign playfully refences on the brand tagline: "Spooky Good Salsa" by using wording such as "afraid" and "scary." Phantom Salsa is also a great late night snack, so the photos reference evening settings.
Website Landing Page
Finally, I designed the website landing page for Phantom Salsa, which pushes advertising of the new flavors with a link to shop the salsa and offers an explanation of who the company is.
